Carry Ammo Loads
Hey guys i wanted to practice more with my carry loads (Goldots and HydraSock)
but since they are about a buck something a piece where could i find the loads for those rounds? Is there a site (reliable, don't want to blow my face off) where I could find those data? since ammo piece is so high and since i have the press with not get the most out of it? thanks a lot guys |

You can get Hyda Shoks from ammunitiontogo.com for a lot less than $1 a piece. Also, the ballistics for the Hydra Shoks and HST's are basically the same and the HST's are cheaper, you may want to load up on the HST's for practice.
You should be able to get the technical info on the rounds from the manufactures. Try their web sites.

WWB 165 is pretty stout load and it will be a good simulation for the more popular self defense loads.

The only diff. between GD & HS are the bullets. Any factory FMJ round is going to be pretty close in vel. If you want to duplicate the vel./recoil, you need to know the vel. of the ammo first. Get a FMJ or even lead (more smoke though) of the same wt. & use powder data from any reloading manual that gives you the same vel.
