Here is an LE ballistics compairison calculator.
LE - Pistol

pick a Federal bullet brand and compair.
Its going to show basically 100 ftpounds differnce between 9mm and 45 acp as a general rule, and 50 ftpounds difference between standard and +p in each calibers with the same grain bullet.

Approximate MAP as listed -

45 ACP, 21,000 PSI
45 ACP +P, 23,000 PSI
45 Super 28,000 PSI
460 Rowland 40,000 PSI

If the case is fully supported by the chamber walls, the issue is dampening the slide travel to retard increased slide velocity to prevent serious frame and slide damage and if the frame is up to handling the additional loads. The 460 Rowland is a slightly longer case than the 45 ACP but a conversion on a 45 ACP gun. I just noted it to show the pressure a supported but standard barrel wall can handle as long as the slide velocity is managed and the frame is up to the task. The +P increase is, as said by others, not very signficant.
