I thought that too, but I assume they were talking 9mm on the +p+, I didn't go into detail for the .45acp as I knew factory ammo for this round isn't available +p+.

DOH! I meant +P+
I carry +P gold dots in my .45 already. I was thinking of something to pop in for woods carry.

I thought that's what you might have meant but didn't want to assume.

If you have a good 1911 you might (and I stress might) be able to drop in a 26-28lb spring and shoot 45super. At least I think 28lbs would be enough. Someone else would know more about this than I.

I know Buffalo Bore makes pretty potent 45acp +p, as well as super. I was told they load it to the maximum pressure levels, so that may be enough for your needs.

No thanks, not taking a chance...lol
I have a .357 Sig, .357 Mag and a .44 mag if I want to carry them. I just thought if they had some +P+ .45 ammo then an occasional round would be ok. Im not converting anything, I already have it tricked out just the way I like it.

Technically there is no +P+ ammo. The +P+ designation is NOT recognized by SAAMI so buyer beware when using something marked as +P+.

I fired about 30 rounds of +P 185grain Hollowpoints and had no issues whatsoever. Thats all I could afford to shoot and still have a few left for the house protection, lol.
