I am new to this forum and yesterday I just bought a XD .45 ACP 5'' Tacticle modle. I love everything about this gun. I knew going into this that ammo wouldn't be cheap. I have read some other posts on this topic but haven't found any recent discussions. So here's my question: Where is the best place to buy .45acp in bulk?

I have looked around searching the internet for days trying to compile a list but prices seem about the same for the most part. I know most people would say Wolf is the best price, but I hate wolf with a passion. I have used it and other guns and I really don't like it. So anyways if anyone out there knows any good deals please let me know. Thanks for looking!

I have done a lot of looking for new factory ammunition in bulk, you still won't beat the price foe the winchester white box 45 at walmart. You can buy cases of ammo, but if you calculate the price, you can still get them cheaper there. Just buy all the wwb 45 you can before the next price hike! If you are going to shoot that much, reload! Save you 40-50% in cost.

I've checked various places and Wal-Mart is the cheapest I have seen for WWB. I saw an ad in Dick's sporting goods for Remmington. Wal-Mart has pretty much beat any online places I have seen besides Wolf ammo.

Georgia Arms has "Canned Heat" 45 acp bulk, 1000 rounds for $250.00

I use/shoot both and have never had a problem. But I have read other people having problem with Wolf. Have not heard/read any complaints about Georgia Arms.

I've dealt with them several times and have always had good transactions.

I just picked up 30 boxes of the bi-metal Blazer from Natchez. After shipping not too far from Tn it was about 12.40 a box after shipping. The price of each box was 10.99 i think.

Georgia Arms is good ammo. If you don;t want to shoot Wolf, Aguila here for decent prices: 45 Auto (ACP) 230gr FMJ Aguila Case 1000 rds

Thanks for all the fast replies. So far through my own searching and everyone else's it seems like Natchez is the best value. I think its even cheaper than WWB. So far I only have 50rnds through my new XD but I love everything about it. I'll let you guys know how it goes and thanks again for the help.

Bass Pro Shops are currently selling 250 rounds for $89.00. Not sure how that stacks up against 1000 rounds though.

I ve done the same thing for 10 mm and realize its just easier and cheaper to reload.
