Wolf bulk ammo
I'm a newbie, and this is probably a dumb question, but does anyone use Wolf 9mm ammo? I just bought a xd service 4" 9mm, and am looking for bulk 9mm ammo, and Wolf appears to be the cheapest I can find. Any problems with it for target practice, or is it fine? Thanks in advance.

I actually have a large supply of Wolf 180 gr. FMJ. It's been great, and I've used about 1500 rounds so far.
*EDIT* I'm using the .40, myself. I would assume the 9mm is just as good. |

Wolf ammo seems to be hit or miss. My XD hates the stuff. It goes bang every time I pull the trigger on it, when it chambers it. If your pistol will chew through it with no problems, then by all means, shoot it.
The problem seems to be with the powdered polymer coating. It rubs off of the casing and jams the follower in the mag and then it won't allow the bullets to be fed properly into the chamber. Never hurts to try new options. FWIW, my stuff is the 45 ACP.

Wolf shoots great through my Xd .45 compact ive never had any problems and my groups are good

I tried a box in my G17, works fine, even decent accuracy (3" @ 25yds).

Buy Winchester White Box (WWB) from Wal-mart. About 170 a K and it's reloadable brass. None of the problems Wolf has either.

bought some for my sks, and for my 45, they all went bang, but very dirty, accuracy sucked from my sks. and I reload so it's pointless to buy because it's a lacquered steel casing, no reloading. But I know a lot of people by and use it, if SHTF ammo is ammo, when you need it, your not going to be picky as long as it goes bang
