Remington Golden Sabre or Federal Hydrashok?

I've got a box of both, and I've run a mag of each through my XD40SC. Both shoot well, both have cycled flawlessly for one mag's worth of double taps.

What's your preference? I loved Golden Sabres in my .357 revolver, but I'm a little worried about feed issues with the perforated jacket. Still, the proof's in the pudding, and they shot just fine.

Both are good bullets desings. SOme will say the FHS is old shool but they still work. I prefer teh RemGS, it's accurate & the vel. seem to run abit higher in all calibers.

I recently switched to Federal 165gr Expanding FMJ for my XD-40SC. When I was carrying my XD-40 Service I was using Remington 165 gr Golden Saber but I found they were really prone to setback. I have had more than one occasion where when loading my gun the bullet would setback into the cartridge causing a jam. Never had that problem with any other ammunition. I am also interested in giving Speer's Short barrel 40S&W ammo a try in my XD-40SC.
