I was at Bass pro the other day and saw it. I would like to try it, but for the price I will stay with blazer brass. I do like to try new ammo once in a while though

well seeing as a box of 100 is 18 and some change, they don't seem to be comparable in price

I saw that a few weeks ago. I was holding out for the SXT in .40 but they have no clue when they'll be getting it in. They're fully stocked on the SXZ. I asked the guy behind the counter about it and he said he thinks the SXZ is better because of the Lubalox coating. I figured Id buy a box of the .40 HP and try it out. Ill let you know after a day at the range.

Really it is just the WWB jhp with a lube on it. Makes it no better or worse. Just looks tacticool.

It has to be better because you all know that black coating is actually teflon that makes those rounds armor piercing!!! Thats why Black Talons are illegal...

Put the sxz40 training through my xd40 sub and service yesterday at the range. the XDs eat it like they eat everything else. without a hiccup. I'll be carrying the hollowpoints in both pistols for a while.

Here is some informal testing of the new 9mm 115 JHP on Sigforum. It performed horribly when compared to a 147 Ranger-T
http://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc...6951034611/p/2 It's probably OK for practice or around the house; I'll buy a box or two. For carry though, I'll stick with my 124 +P Gold Dots. Last edited by bullseye10x; 03-24-2008 at 10:37 PM. |
