Help me figure out a load!

I just got my Lee Classic Turret set up, but now I'm trying to figure out a good, safe load to start with.

For the life of me, I can't find a 9mm, 147gr FMJ, TiteGroup load and OAL. I can find Titegroup with some other bullet, or my bullet with a different powder, but I can't find the two. I've looked on Hodgdon's site, and a bunch of others. I've looked on the powder bottle. I've looked on the stuff that came with my press equipment.

I read that a couple of you guys were using 147 JHP (Zero) and 3.5gr of TiteGroup, with Winchester small primers. I've got that primer, the powder, and bullet weight... is that a good grain to start with? Dunno if the FMJ vs JHP makes that much difference.

Any recommendations on an OAL for it? All I can find is about 1.169". I measured a factory WWB round (115 gr) and it's 1.159".

Fook Mi, this is confusing!!

Titegroup and Bullseye are very similar in burn rates here's some bullseye data. I would start a 10% below published weight and work from there.

• 147GR XTP
Minimum OAL (inches) Bbl Length Primer Powder Charge Weight(grains) Velocity(fps) Chamber Pressure(psi)
1.14 4 Win WSP Bullseye 4.2 1,010 32,900

Dumb question...what is "XTP?" I know FMC, FMJ, JHP, but not that one.

Cool, thanks. I've got Rainier's 147gr, and I think I'll probably aim for 3.4-3.5gr. Seems popular. I'll look for a 1.14-1.16 OAL. Seems to be a good range. Guess I'll just try it and see! Hmmm...I should probably use my GLOCK for this, hahaha...if it BOOMS, at least it's not my HK.
