They now have bonded and non-bonded.


Either way, the Homeland Defender ammo (if it is HST) is a good round, regardless of the cheesy marketing.

HST is not Bonded. There are a whole bunch of different bullets in the Federal Tactical line. In hand gun it has the following.

Hydra-Shock
EFMJ
Bonded jhp
HST

How does the price compare to the Federal box? If cheaper, it would be the way to go - if it is identical to the HST.

No, HST and Hydra Shok are two different rounds. Almost identical ballistics, but different. The Hyda Shoks are more expensive.
