Reloading 9mm for Service vs Tac
I have been shooting an XD9 4" for over a year but recently picked up a used XD9 Tactical.
My 9mm ammo was loaded and chronoed for my 4". What if any modifications do you think need to be made? I don't have time to do a lot of load testing before an IDPA match on Sunday. |

The ammo will be faster out of the 5in gun but I would test it first.

Yeah I was figuring the 5" barrel would increase velocity alittle.
For now I just want to make sure the slide cycles correctly. I might have time to chrono alittle on Sat so I guess I will see then. |

It is actually easier to get the 5in to cycle than the 4in if you are using the stock recoil system.
