Bass Pro Shop cheaper than Walmart

I normally purchase my ammo from walmart. I would much rather support my local gun shops but walmart beats them by a lot of $. Im fortunate to have a Bass Pro shop close. I rode up there to look for a pistol case and checked their ammo prices. To my surprise they are cheaper than walmart! Plus they were having a sale. $22.49 + tax for 100 rnds. Winchester fmj. I was so excited I bought 500 rnds. Check Bass Pro Shops out if you have one near you.

I noticed that too... I picked up a few WWB 100 packs of .40 for $22.94 each at Bass Pro here in Phoenix. Cheaper than I could do at Walmart.

For what it's worth I just got 250 rounds of 9mm at Academy for $49.
Remington UMC. Haven't had a chance to check Wally World but the other day I rememnber that Academy was cheaper.

My experience with the BPS here is that it was overpriced on ammo--they even had a 10% off all ammo sale and the sales price was higher than the regular price at Wally World or Cabelas...

Hmmmm...

Maybe I'll have to check them out again.

Was just at BP two days ago and I can say that their prices were not better than the WM I go to. They were at least $2 more per box on everything I am interested in (9mm, .380 & .223)

Anyone happen to notice their prices on .45 acp? Probably not worth the 45 minute drive since Walmart is 1.1 miles...

Hey hey hey, would you support the place where I now work?!?!?!?!

If I told you what the manager discounts were, you would send me money to buy your ammo.

Remington® UMC® 45 ACP Mega Pack Ammo
$89.99
