barnes bullets
has anyone here reloaded and of the:
.223 varmit grenade 50gr .223 triple-x 62gr .308 mpg 140 gr

I have used the Barnes 223 40gr VLC bullets and they were amazingly accurate.
Barnes make good stuff but it can be expensive.

ive shot the banded solids in 7mm remington mag.
if i were to use the varmint gernade in .223 remington i would use the 37 grain to keep the velocity up. if i was useing 22-250 or 223 WSSM or 22-243 i would use the 50 grain one since the velocity isnt an issue with that |

im reloading the 308 for a friends M1A and his Rock River AR is gonna take the 223

im waiting for the new barnes book to come out on the 31MAR then im going to find my powders and primers. im using r-p 308 virgin brass and winchester 223 virgin brass
