Ever use Glaser Pow'R Ball ammo?
I know its been around for awhile but wondered if it is as good as they say. They have a .45 auto + P 165 gr jhp with a polymer cap on the end.
It is flying at 1225 fps, sounds impressive but how good is it for a carry round. I dont have any feeding problems with my XD, but it is supposed to feed just like a fmj. Any thoughts?

Glaser safety slugs have not preformed well in any independent tests. They lack the penetration required at less than optimal angles.

i have experience with the PowR'ball ammo...i used to carry it in my Glock 36 a long time ago...
did not care for it at all....and really cor bon ammo in general... the muzzle blast from the powrball was pretty intense compared to other load from Federal and Winchester...and i could not get consistent accuracy from them compared to other loads and with Federal HST's out now, that is all i use...and with the XD now my favorite pistol (see my sig line
