Use Missouri bullets 230 lead rn and 5.8-6.5 of unique.It's pretty reasonable is an accurate load in my 1911's.

Midway is always having sales on either Lead .45 or copper plated .45's. Keep your eyes out, it's usually like $20 off (35%-40%), it adds up if you stock up on a sale

+1 on Missouri Bullet Company $68 for 1K 230gn LRN and a can of clays goes a long way. My XD is pretty happy with this over 4.0 of clays and mixed brass. Win 231 or VV N 340 works pretty good as well.
