This exactly the kind of information I was looking for.
I'm curious though, Where did you obtain this info??

Relatively simple physics calculations

In truth I found them on the internet and checked them myself

Ek(Joules) = 1/2 M(kilograms)V^2(m/s)

I just want to say Kudos to all of those who chimed in and helped out with solid information. It was a great help and now I am that much more educated. "Priceless!"

Check out the FirearmsTactical.com - Home for articles about all the inconsistencies in the Marshal and Sanow data.
I invite you to sign on to StoppingPower.net forum which is run by Evan Marshall and present what you said above along with the evidence offered at FirearmsTactical.com and any other sources and allow Evan to defend himself. I would very much like to see that conversation.

I have followed the work of Marshall & Sanow since the 90's and the notion that it is a joke simply doesn't ring true to me. Neither does the implication that Evan is a liar. I don't believe that for one minute. I may not agree with all their conclusions or methodology but that doesn't mean that there is no value there or that their enterprise is in any way fraudulent.

So please log on, make your case, and let's see what Evan has to say. We can report the conversation here so the XDTalk peeps can judge for themselves. If you are going to accuse the guy, do it to his face, and give him the chance to respond. That's only fair don't you think?

Truthfully, who cares about 40, 45, or 357? It's all about that 5.7x28mm high velocity round that the FN five seven carries, in a ten or twenty round magazine. That's nasty, it's like firing a rifle round through a handgun...
