Defense Ammo Suggestions!!
Fellas, I am new to the XD line-up. Just bought a XD9SC bi-tone.

there is at least 1 million threads on this. so in the futre try a search first. but i know that its nicer to start your own thread and i really dont have a problem with people doing this. cuz hey thats what this site is for. but doing a search might help you with some answers that you didnt get from this thread.
oh and welcome to the forum! i go with gold dots since thats was a large portion of cops carry and if its good enough for them its good enough for me. ANY name brand HP for self defence should work just fine. its really a matter of prefrence. just stay away from the "exotic" ammo like extreme shock and other frangable ammo unless your situation needs something they offer like low penetration. and your good to go on the +p rounds im not sure about +p+ but i think you can but just make sure you only use factory ammo dont use gunshow reloads! Welcome to the forum. Winchester SXT Ranger ammo, Hornady Tap, Gold Dot, all popular and seem to feed well in the XD's.
