Target loads and spring weights for XD40

I am planning on creating some target loads for my XD40 and am curious if anybody has loaded any light loads and if so, what # spring and what charge? I am thinking about trying 3.6-4.0gr of Unique with either a 18 or 16# spring. Ideally with very low muzzle flip. Any thoughts?

I am using 3.4 of TightGroup with a 180 grain Rainer 1.125 oal with standard captive guide rod and the gun cycles just fine. Very light recoil and muzzle flip. This load crono out of my gun at 755 FPS.

I made some 135 grain berry's with 5.6 grains universal clays and shot real well in my sub-compact and just got a 14#and16# was told 3.5 grains tight group and 180 with 14# spring is really good
