Unhappy Which powder??

I am going to start reloading on a progressive press and I am looking for a powder that will throw about the same charge each time.
On my single stage I have been using Clays, and I have found that it is not the most consistent powder to throw.

I have been told that UNIVERSAL will work better...
Looking for some more input.
Thanks all

You didn't mention caliber.
M choices:
9mm IMR 7625
40S&W VV n320
38spl Trail Boss
38super IMR 4756
45acp Win Super Target

All of these powders throw consistant charges with my Dillon powder measures.

yes cailber sure would help.
Universal good all round but hates light loads.
Titegroup meters well
What type machine also helps a ton. My dillon meters everything decent with the small bar for pistols

n320 and 40 .Not for me

For most handgun rounds, Winchester 231 meters as close to perfect as you'll get. It also performs well in a wide variety of calibers.

Ramshot True Blue and Silhouette are both perfect, low-flash powders for 9mm and .40 S&W, and they meter beautifully.

R/T, I didn't give any data, only powder choices. Mostly because I load my 40's to nearly 10mm length to be shot only in my long throated STI and S&W 610. I will not be responsible for someone damaging their stuff because of my load data.

Titegroup, Accurate #2, Accurate #5, Winchester 231 will all do what you ask. Titegroup is a great powder but the only thing I don't like about it is that it always sticks to the inside of my powder measure and is a b---h to get out, none of the others do that. Accurate #2 has made some of the better handgun loads I have seen, I use a lot of Accurate pistol powders FWIW.

These were not foreigners killed by invading armies during times of war, these were citizens killed by their own governments in times of peace.
