what all would I need and approx how much $$ would i have to spend to start. i mainly shoot .45 Acp . & 7.62x 39 and 9mm and .40 thanks alot

Study first. Then buy.

A Hornady Lock-N-Load press.
Shell plates
Die sets
Scale......


There is a LOT of little stuff that you will want/need to make life easier.

Figure around $1k of hardware to get you going right for the four calibers.

Get The ABCs of Reloading (gun shops or Amazon). Read the sections on metalic reloading & you'll have a better idea what you want to spend & what you really need. Basically it comes down to time v money. As the production rate (rounds/hr) goes up so does the cost. You can go single stage, $250 for 50rds/hr. You can go turret press, $300 for 150rds/hr. A progressive will get you to 400rds+/hr but you are looking at $500-$600 w/ a decent powder scale. Still, if you shoot enough, you'll get the cost of your equip. back in a year or so & then it's just components.
