Federal HST range update on XD45C...

Hey guys,
Went to the range today and my first experience shooting the 45acp HST's were pretty good in my XD45C. Out of 50 rounds I had one failure to feed.
I believe this was due to slapping the mag back in after I had already chambered a round. The round pointed down when I checked it. Dropped the mag, fixed it back in and shot no problem.
All the rest shot flawlessly in both mags.
I have one more 50 box of the HST's and I'll shoot those before I make a decision about carrying them. Also the HST's have a punch to them, more so than the average round. I did not even have the +P's. Something I'd have to get used too.
Kinda compromised accuracy a bit but when I took my time they went where I was aiming. To early to judge just yet.

I'll take another trip to the range and try a couple of different things then I'll make a decision.

I carry HST in my HK USPc .40SW and my RIA 1911. The +p .45 really isn't that bad. But then again I'm shooting it from a 1911 and not an XD.

If the last 50 rounds shoot w/ no problem then I'll carry'em...
I'll probably still put the first round as a Federal EFMJ for carry just to be sure.
