Problem locating LRN for indoor range

The indoor range I'll be using next week has a rule of lead only, no jacketed ammo. There is also a 1000fps max velocity.

I've been to all the places that sell ammo in my area and all I can get is...

Ultramax (remanufactured) 9mm LRN, 125gr, velocity (from their website) 1060fps.

I'm hoping this is close enough and I'll be able to use it.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

call the range and ask them where you can get the ammo to shoot in there facility. if they cant tell you then forget that range exist. Had a range like that when I lived in Wa, they couldn't tell me where to get there ammo so I told them to stick it. not gonna go out of my way to find special ammo to turn around and pay them to let me shoot it. I just get the FMJ and hit the outdoor range 5 blocks from the house.

DUH. That makes sense.

I have FMJ and JHP for outdoor use but it's cold outside.
Oh, and members don't pay to use the range
The nearest range to me is a good 30 minute drive. There are a few but all in different directions. If I'm gonna drive that far I want to be inside and 'warm and cosy'.

Anyway, thanks for the idea, I'll contact them and ask.

Nope. No reloading. Thought that might be an option but since I've only just started this new hobby 3 weeks ago I don't want to get too heavily involved just yet. Got a long enough shopping list as it is

Thinking about it .... I'm sure the ammo I have should be ok. The person who sold it to me is a member of the club and an instructor. She doesn't use the indoor range though. Her Glock won't shoot lead.

That's the first I've ever heard of a range banning FMJ's... most places usually ban lead

You sure you got that right??? I'd at least make a phone call and make sure 100% 'cause that sounds ass-backwards to me

Unless they are making you run your ammo over a chronograph, shoot the Ultramax. If it even makes 1050fps, they'll never know.

Yep. It's correct. It's on the club web site.

Range

Sounds like either someone is collecting all the lead for reuse or the steel backstop won't stop FMJ and speeds over 1000 fps...

That was my first thought but I haven't seen the facility yet and don't want to make 'judgements' about safety and such.
