Nosler bullets

There have been some great threads on here regarding choices on self defense ammo as well as some good stuff on various bullet choices for reloading. I've run across some really good links on the more common bullets and ammo. However, I've not run across anything on how Nosler handgun bullets do in terms of ballistic tests. Does anyone know of any good links regarding this? Thanks

Handgun or rifle? The Ballistic tip rifle bullets work great and are quite accurate, Partitions are a standby for serious hunters.

I don't think Nosler has ever made a bad product. Partitions are still among the best for hunting medium and large game.

185 Nosler JHP in 45 ACP has long been considered the most accurate projectile in that caliber.

A 30-06 180 partition is one of the best rifle loads you can get. Only slightly less so in .308. Ballistic tips are great for .22 caliber chamberings but they are not great penetrators. Nosler makes the Trophy Bonded projectiles used in Fed Tactical loads in .223/.308 and they are quite possibly the best all around loads with numerous police departments and federal agencies using them.

Nosler makes quality.

I use their 210gr JHP in my .41 Mag Ruger Blackhawk, and the 120gr Ballistic Tip for varmint in my 7mm Mag.

I've rolled almost all of the 100 pistol bullets in the box and they were all the same, excellent.

I am putting together my old phone books to do a "Box-o-Truth" test.

I want to see retention weight, shape, penetration, trajectory, etc. at 10 yards.

I am curious to know what you will learn from your test. I was hoping that someone might know of some possibly obscure ballistic gelatin test using Nosler bullets. I have used them extensively in handguns and I think they are a very fine bullet but I have nticed when shooting milk jugs, etc that I will find the copper casing has been seperated from the lead.

To my knowledge, their pistol bullets are not bonded, so I would expect that.

Nosler used wet newspapers when he first started making bullets, the Partition.
