Reloading Bench Ideas?
I just moved in to a small apartment closer to school to save some money. I don't have enough room for big bench and I cant bolt to the wall for support. So, any ideas on a small reloading bench, yet sturdy enough to not turn over?

I bought an old teacher's desk at a school auction. It's rough as a cob, (that's why I got it cheap,) but very sturdy.
It measures 32" x 42" across the top and it has a bunch of drawers. I don't reload but I use it as a work table for cleaning and working with my guns, etc. Something like that might work for you. bd |

There's a book out there. ABCs of Reloading, I believe (I have it, but it's at home). It has plans in it for a reloading bench for apartment dwellers. You may want to take a look at it. I believe I got the book at Barnes & Noble.

Hey Old School one recomendation is to seal the wood top or cover it with a sheet of non porous material like aluminum or a sheet of plexyglass cut to fit the top. The fiber board likes to absorb cleaners and oils really easy and it always seems like you set a bottles of hoppes down and next thing you know it fell over. Plus the non pourus materal is easier to clean.

Thanks for the tips guys. I ended up buying a black & decker workmate at a yard sale. I glued some plywood to it and then bolted the press. Works great and fits in the corner when i'm not using it.

Old School, the $75 is only for the peg board backer, not the bench
