Are reloading dies universal?
Are reloading dies universal? In other words, can I use Dillon dies on a Lee Loading Press?
I've reloaded before on other's equipment. All of my relatives use Dillon, so before I get my own reloading equipment I'm wondering if I have to stick with Dillon to be able to use their extra dies. Thanks.

Thanks guys.
What presses should I be considering? I'm not against Dillon, but I don't want to pay extra just because its blue. I shoot primarily pistol calibers, and right now I have about 10,000 9mm brass, 5000 .45 brass, and 2000 .40 brass amongst others. After I reload this backlog, I shoot about 2000 centerfire rounds a month.

LEE? I love my single stage Lee press but it is SLLLLLLLLOW. Maybe a 4 hole Lee turret press?
I know their Pro1000 system is soppoused to pump out ammo at a pretty good clip but it is probabaly the most complicated Lee system there is.

If your shooting that much then you need to honestly consider a dillon. Great warranty, great support and high rate of feed.

I'm definetly looking at a progressive. With the amount of shooting I do and the little free time I have with 2 young kids, I need something that will crank out the reloads.

Since my original question was answered, I won't turn this into another Dillon vs. everyone else thread.
Thanks for the help.
