Lee Classic Turret Press

Anyone own this press? I have read good reviews about it on Cabela's and MidwayUSA but have read a lot of bad things about their progressive reloaders. I am going to be a moderate reloader so the progressive seems a little overboard and the single stage seems like not near efficient enough. I want to reload like 1000 rds/mo. I would really appreciate any comments.

I got one and I love it!

I mostly reload 44 and 45 acp using it as a turret. You can also use it as a single stage, which I will soon be doing to reload deer hunting loads (243, 25-06, 270, & 30-06). I got mine from Kempf Guns Shop http://www.kempfgunshop.com/products.../KempfKit.html
Great service!
I would definately recommend that you upgrade to the PRO AutoDisk powder measure and the lever prime system for small and large primers. Not much extra cost for things that will really benefit you. I also got a couple x-tra 4 hole turrets (one for 44, one for 45, etc). You can switch calibers in a snap!

Good luck

This is one of the best turret press for the money and I can load 200rd. of 45acp in an hour. Switching caliber is easy - just switch out the turret. Lee CS is good and make sure you get the Lee 4 dies setup if you're are using their powder thru system. Get the kit from cabelas or kemphft website.

I may be upgrading to one soon. I really don't reload for precission more economic reasons. The single stager works great but is SLLLLLLLOW. It takes a while to reload even 50 rounds.

That's a unique reloading bench you have there.

Thanks guys for your input. I will probably get the kit from kempf. I see in the pictures that none of you have the primer system attached. Does this mean you haven't purchased it, or don't like it? Also, if you don't have it do you just load every primer by hand?
