Now if they would only do something like that for the guns themselves...

I decided to call before driving over. They told me I needed the original and wouldn't take a coupon printed from the internet.

That's funny. I just called the store here in KS and they told me... "as long as the bar code was readable", they didn't care. However, they usually have their weekly flyers by the door when you walk in.

I just went to my local Dick's with my printed coupon and they took it no questions asked. They just did a little scanner dance and keyed it 50% off by hand and then just scanned the ammo.

I just grabbed the six boxes of .45 Remington (wife was with me). Cost me $58.41 for 300 rounds or $9.73 per box of 50.

The coupon is NOT in the "in store" circular but, it was in the circular that was mailed to your home with all the other junk mail.

THey took the internet coupon. Whoever answered the phone when I called didn't have the right info. The guy in the gun dept rang it up without any problem.

Just wanted to say thanks! Got 6 boxes of Remington .45 for 9.74 each. I'm going back tomorrow to get 6 more before the coupon expires!

I told a coworker about it, and he bought 6 CASES of 12ga shotgun shells and was able to use the coupon. The coupon doesn't specify how big a box is!

I picked up some hydra shocks in 9mm to carry and some JHP .223 in hopes of taking care of a cyote problem... The did take the 50% off the higherst priced box of ammo

Their prices still couldn't touch WWB from Wallyworld, add in the fact that my brother gets 10% for employee discount and the ammo price is almost unbeatable...

I bought 2 boxes of rem umc 9mm and 4 boxes of thunderbolt 22lr. There was a line at the counter to get ammo and to check out since everyone had a coupon and those that didnt guys printed out extras to give to others. It seemed at the two open registers one was just guys buying ammo and the other line was people buying other non ammo items. Needless to say we got a few looks especially the guy in front of me that bought ten cases of 12 gauge.
