Buying Ammo in Oregon

Going to be traveling from CA to Oregon next week, thinking I might be able to load up on some practice ammo while I'm there (WWB, Blazer's etc.) Gotta be cheaper than CA prices, right? Anyone in Oregon, specifically the Medford area have any advice? WalMart the best for plinking stuff or is there somewhere better? Right now I'm paying about $10/50 for Blazer's, and $12/50 for WWB at my local Wally's(.40S&W). Thanks!

Find a Bi-Mart and pay the $5 for the lifetime membership right now they have .45 of Rem UMC for $12.99 per box and cheaper for 9mmm and .40.. Think it is limited to stock on hand and 4 at a time but you can always make a couple trips...

Yup! .40S&W 165 gr. and 180 gr. is $10.99 until 10/14/2007.

Bi-mart is the best place for ammo when it is on sale.

Too bad you aren't traveling futher North to Salem area.
Right now, Outdoor Marksman has 26 cans of factory reload(good stuff, I've shot many hundreds with no problem)500 rds/ $74.95. That's from .06 to .10 a round cheaper but might not pay for the several hours more up the freeway. They ship too
but that cost might not make it worth it. OM is about 5 minutes off I-5, fairly easy
off/on. about 4 turns.

By the way, I agree on Bi-mart too. Great price on AE .223 when available.
