For plated bullet like Rainier or Berry's, you want to use lead bullet load data. http://www.rainierballistics.com/mainframe.htm

You need to treat it like lead because the platting is so thin. You would be able to put a dent in it with your fingernail.

they also told me that i the heviest bullet i could use in a 308 with a 1 in 10 twist was 165 and even that is pushing it. well after alot of research i found that most people say that up to 200 is usually ok but of corse it depends on the indiviual rifle

Do yourself a favor and get some reloading manuals or at least info from reliable sources and not "counter guys". Work your loads up from minimum, don't start at or near max levels.
