9mm 147gr Gold Dots JHP ... are they good ?
Has anyone heard anything about this ammo ? My friend gave me a few boxes. Is it just as good as 9mm GD 124 +P ( what I use in my XD 9 ) ?

I've bought 2k of these this month and have shot about 200 of them in my XD and my Marlin camp 9, they both shot them w/o a problem.

Both weights of GoldDots in 9mm looked fantastic when they came out of the other side of a road-killed deer chest. The gun shop where I peruse frequently is doing their own ammo "testing" on the self defense loads/brands.
