I really like my Lee although I will admit that sometimes it feels a little jerky when I'm loading rounds.

Dillon 550 or 650 depending on how many you plan to reload. Really like my 650.

After all the problems I had with my Hornady Apex 3.1 progressive shot shell reloader, I,ll never own another Hornady press.

Yeah, but I spent at least $200 less on my reloader and I'm fairly sure that I can reload ammo with as good quality as you can.

Plus mine came standard with a case feeder and the bullet feeder option is <$50.

Look at a Hornady LNL. Auto indexing and features found in Dillon's higher end presses but less money.

Here's a user's non-biased evaluation of the old topic Dillon vs Lee vs Hornady so you can judge for yourself:

http://www.comrace.ca/cmfiles/dillon...Comparison.pdf

Myself, I really like my Hornady. It's not a LNL but the predecessor and it cranks out the rounds like no tomorrow. Customer service is tops as well and besides... Dillon has enough toys and he don't need my money. Besides, I'm just not a fan of blue koolaid.

Its a shame that entire article is based upon somebody's checkbook rather than the merchandise themselves.

Nothing anyone couldn't have came up with 15 minutes and a calculator.

Im glad your happy with yours but the Dillon quality is really hard to beat. Just my opinion.

I didn't come away with that impression at all.

I am neither poor, rich, cheap, nor spendthrift. I like total value, not frilly features. I enjoy my ten-year-old BMW motorcycle, my newish Hemi-powered car (which is going to last ten years), and my well-used ten-year-old walking shoes.
I own and like a lot of Lee, Hornady and RCBS products, and use Redding dies for precision work. My motto: buy for purpose, not for show, and never pay retail. Don’t tell me what you like, tell me why you like it.

I'm keeping my dies but I'll let the press go for $80 including the powder measure and the case feeder and coalmeter I will include the plates for .45 and .40 and 2 turret heads though.
