I'm sorry to beat a dead horse to death on here, but you guys are very helpful in my times of questioning.
I've always shot the basic .223 55gr. fmj round out of my Bushmaster rifle...and since the WWB "value packs" seem to be a tad bit easier to find, I've considered buying some of those just to have stashed away.
I've seen these rounds on some websites as "low recoil" varmint 45gr rounds....I'm wondering if they'll function ok in an AR type rifle? I mean I know they should "fly" ok out of my 1 in 9 barrel....but I'm worried about em not having enough to function the bolt properly.
I don't want to go buy some fairly expensive ammo for em to jam, so any feedback would be really helpful to me.

I only shoot my reloads through my Bushy, and it just never fails, whether I'm loading hot or light. If you want to buy the "expensive" varmint rounds, just buy a small number of them. That shouldn't break the bank, before you find whether they'll work in your Bushy or not.

I've only seen em in multi packs. I might hafta give a "shot" just to see

Its whats called a "frankengun". Meaning I built it, and its made of parts from several different manufacturers.

Those 40 round value-packs are hard to find around here now.
