Aguila Ammo

Greetings,

Anyone ever used Aguila ammo? What is the quality of it?

Is it brass and Boxer primed so it can be reloaded?

I can get it for 9,75$ per box of 50 for .45ACP. It is almost 3 $$ cheaper than the Blazer ammo at wal-Mart.

Thank you

I shot some 125gr 9mm loads. It was brass, but I'm a noob and don't know what "boxer primed" means.

I have shot Aguila in .32acp, .380acp, 9mm & .45acp calibers. It cycled perfectly in everything I shot that ammo in, I would not hesitate to buy more. It is loaded in Mexico in a plant that I believe Remington helped to set up decades ago. It is comparable to Remington UMC in dirtiness and overall quality. The brass IS boxer primed and perfectluy reloadable although my Father in Laws Dillon reloading press SOMETIMES has difficulty when priming the casings (this also happened with Sellier & Bellot brass). My freind's Lee press has not had any issue with those casing so YMMV. Once the cases were primed bueelt seating was no problem. The brass seemed to hold up reasonably well too.

The Aguila Super Maxc 22 LR ammos is some the best money can buy. It's Elley primed and the hottest stuff made and shoot really well out of every gun I've shot it in.

I've reloaded the brass without any issues for 9mm and 45 ACP.

I usually only have primer seating issues with NATO rounds.
