Cheapest bullets

Greetings,

I am getting ready to reload for cost effectiveness (My wife and I are shooting about 500 rounds per week in 9mm, .45ACP, .38spl and .357Mag). It begins to cost us the skin of our butt. hehehehe

What is the current best price and where in bullets FMJ and non-FMJ?

I saw at midwayusa some 1000 bullets "metal coated" for just under 80$. Is it as good as FMJ (fouling wise)?

Thank you

Copper washed bullets or copper plated bullets wont leave any leading in your gun (normaly).

Bear Creek moly coated are pretty cheap but lots of people shy away from them.

I use them and think they're fine.

For copper plated I use Berry's or Rainers from cabelas, they are both about .09 a round for .40. Cabelas ships by price and not weight which can save alot with large quantities. A place for cheap lead bullets is keadbullets.com

I like plated bullets as a cheaper alternative to Jacked bullets. However Lead is having a big draw on me right now as it cuts costs in half depending on who you get them from.

Have you tried the Bushwhacker extra hard cast bullets from Powder valley?

Price is very attractive even compared to Rainiers plated.

I am a big fan of the Precision Black Bullets in my 40SW and 45ACP. They are inexpensive for a quality bullet; currently $56/100 of the 124gr 9x19 and $81/1000 on the 230gr 45ACP RNF.
