I know that 9mm Kurz is .380 ACP, but I am curious, would it shoot through an XD?

Nope.

Yes it will, but it may not extract it or it may wedge itself in the breech. You shouldn't do it. I have done it on accident, someone thought it would be funny to slip one in while they were loading some mags.
