Yep use it in my carry XD45 Compact. The main reason for using the Pow R' Ball is the bullet nose eliminated the potentional feed problems some guns have with flat nosed hollow point bullets. It is also suppose to improve expansion issue due to material, such as denim, filling the hollow point.
Here is a nice comparison chart using 9mm bullets but you can see the difference. http://frag.110mb.com/

I use to carry these all the time in my XD45c, now I carry the .40SW pow'r'ball in my XD40sc.
One less issue with feeding potential.

Why is everyone worried about feeding issues when it comes to HP ammo?
Are people really have that many issues with the XD not feeding HP ammo? I have never had a problem feeding any type of ammo in my XDs, every HP ammo I have tried has worked. I have tried just about every brand of HP ammo and have no issues. |

I have feeding issues in my Kahr so I have the Pow'RBall in 9mm, no issues anymore.
I also have a box in .40 that will probably go in my CX Storm carbine (the only .40 that I own)
