Post Federal HST or Federal Tactical Bonded

Does anyone know which one of these rounds is the premium round? Which round would perform best in a self defense situation? What is the difference between the two rounds? Any information concerning these two rounds is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Here is a link with some info on the HST. I want to get a box for carry but can't afford it right now.

http://frag.110mb.com/

Note: This is for 9mm ammo. Have a look at the HST bullet upon impact, pretty nasty lookin eh?

The bonded is likely better suited for hard barrier penetration, such as auto glass. But, that might come at the price of expansion in soft barriers.

D_Fence covers it. The only that that I will add is the Tactical Bonded has been out longer than the HST. The Bonded has street credibility and the HST does not yet.

Great link! Thanks! I have some Powerballs, HST's, EFMJ's, and DPX rounds for 45 ACP being delivered Friday. So finding this link today is extremely interesting to me. I am very pleased with the EFMJ performance in this test. I may use both EFMJ and HST's in alternating sequence to capitalize on the big shock hit the EFMJ's apparently deliver followed by the slice and dice of the HSTs.

I used to alternate 125 gr Golden Sabres with 158 gr Hydrashoks in my .357 magnum many years ago for a similar effect. I always liked this arrangement delivered in double taps. And it was easier to shoot then two Hydrashoks.

I will have to see how they actually shoot from my XD45C. They are all +P so they may be a little heavy for me. We'll see this weekend.

Ed...

Here is the page with the Federal LE Tactical ammo. This is available through several sources. Good stuff.
