Todd, what do you use? I've been reloading with Clays.

I have been using Clays as well. Its not the cleanest but its a really good powder for the .45. I toyed with using VV 310 but it costs a bit more.

My load is WLP 230 grain moly bullet and 3.8 grains of Clays

I'm loading 230 grain Speer TMJs with 3.6 grains of Clays. It sounds like we are in the same ballpark.

I'm in the same situation with .45ACP, but I'm in good shape with 9mm components.

I'm not a big 231 fan either. I prefer WST for std. vel. 45acp stuff, clean burning, economical & very accurate.
