Picked up 250 rds of 9mm Blazer Brass today (50x5). 8.97 a box at Wal Mart. They've just now started carrying it, which makes me happy because it's a couple bucks cheaper per 100 rds than WWB. I now have 600 rds in my 9mm stockpile, and about 700 rds of .22. (All I shoot is 9 and .22)

New .22LR

I had to grab a Federal Champion Bulk Pack (525 rds) to go with my new, used Marlin 39A About $18 with military discount. I shot 200+ rounds of it this afternoon at the range. Better buy some more!

cheaper than wwb

Wal*Mart has blazer brass for $8.97. Which makes it cheaper than the 100 round box of WWB($19.97). I just picked up 3 boxes.

Oh... and yes, you should buy a Glock or a Sig.

Yep! IMHO the Blazer Brass 9mm 50rd box will be the current "Ammo of the Season" since the WWB price increase. I also like that they are not loose like the 100rd WWB.

We now have to keep an eye on the ammo sales locally and on the www. Buy when it's hot! I still prefer not to reload.

Ordered some more from Ammunition To Go.
10 boxes (50 rounds) 9mm Federal LE Tactical HST 147gr HP

This should fix me up for a while. I want to run a couple hundred more rounds of this ammo through my EMP before settling on it as my carry round.

Now, about that Blazer Brass at Walmart. Might need to go check that out. My son and I are going through the ammo pretty fast. But, oh what fun it is!

Last week I got three 20rd boxes of Wolf .223 and one 100rd value pack of WWB 9mm. This afternoon I bought one box of XM193 at Gander Mountain, along with a Camelbak bladder, some Ronson lighter flints, and a container of lighter fluid for my BOB.

Wanted to buy some Gold Dots for home defense but I didn't since I'm not 21 yet. I looked at .45 ACP Gold Dots and I could almost fit my pinkie finger in the hole in the bullet itself... lol

Fyi

Last week my wife and I were browsing , shopping at a local strip mall. I went in to Dicks Sporting Goods. I went to check ammo prices. They had Remington/ Umc 115 gr. 9 mm box of 50 for $8.98. normally sell for 13.98/
I grabbed only 1 box this time. Now this was on a Friday. We get the Sunday paper now in Dicks flyer on sale for 10.98!! SAME AMMO.
So i wonder gals/guys if we buy on different days we may catch a real sale. Oh by the way Dicks Sporting Goods is mostly a northeast chain . Also i was in Gander the other day and they had a range bags clearance for 9.98!!! Just some info.

Tim
