This big ammo price increase in September that has been talked about on every message board hasn't happened at my Wal-Mart in southwest Fort Worth. CCI Blazer Brass .40S&W is still $7.57 for a box of 50, .45ACP is still $9.49 and 9mm is still $7.67. The 9mm was never really a bargain. I got my 9mm from Academy Sports. Their CCI Blazer Aluminum was just under $7.00. If I didn't have two cases each of the three calibers I would have bought more.

I hope that's true. I know if its work related (LEO, gun mag writer) you can write guns and ammo off, but I'm not sure about us commoners.

Talking

was at wal-mart tonight to get a few things. I happened to stop by the sporting goods counter and saw that they had a stack of 45 auto blazer brass and asked the guy how much it was. He got out a box and scanned it and it came up at $9.47 , so i bouight 4 boxes....

it's funny because I was going to the range in the morning so I guess it was fate that it hasn't gone up here yet.....!!!

Another 1050 rounds of Blazer 22LR for $23.
That's about the only thing I can afford to shoot.

My Wal-Mart in Northeast Florida has been charging $11.97 for the Blazer Brass .45acp for quite some time now. I still buy it though, because they charge just under $30 for 100 rounds of Winchester White Box.

100 rounds of WWB in 9mm is only $15.94 though. That's why I traded in my XD45 for my 9mm SubCompact.
