I've noticed that, it's $11.97 out here.

I picked up 2 12ga 100 round value packs at Walmart for $16.97 each.

At $0.17 per round, buying 12, 20 gauge
shotfun shells looks like a tremendously
good bargin on todays ammo market.

Shotshells have gone up significantly more than brass cased ammo in the past 18 months. roughly 45% on average.

Which is curious, the hulls are plastic and while there is a lot of lead in them brass casings are a lot more expensive than lead.

It's all relative anyway. I have to scratch my head when I see people say things like this or thats why I have a .22lr or thats why I reload.

As if somehow they beat price increases when doing those things. Whatever helps people sleep at night I suppose.

If they think the 45% increase on lead #6 to #8 shotgun shells and the 38% increase on bulk packed .22lr is LESS than the 30% increase in 9mm and 45auto or the 40% increase in the 9 and 45 reloading supply costs more power to their delusions... I guess

Bought 2 more of the case lots of
the 12 gauge shotfun #4 at the same
price as I paid for the first case of
250 rounds at Wally World. About 17
cents a round.

Yet another random trip to Walmart.

2 boxes of CCI Blazer Brass .40 @ $7.57 each
3 boxes of CCI Blazer Brass .45 @ $9.47 each

Buying ammo is so relaxing.

Ordered 100 rounds of 230 gr. Hydroshocks from Ammuniton To Go today. 54.20 including shipping to Michigan. That is almost half the price for 100 of them from the gun shop.
