Yah 15.72, and it was decatur and 215. I didn't have the receipt on me so I guestimated.

There are a few places online that you can order bulk ammo, 1000 rounds runs anywhere from 119 - around 200 depending on the ammo type. But we have the same pistol so it might be a good idea to find some bulk deals and split them.

I was wondering how buying a box a week would be "stocking-up" when I shoot at lleast two boxes a week.
Sportsman's Guide has Wolf 45acp for 199.95/thousand.

One box a week is just a suggestion. I have my own policy of buying four boxes if I shoot three. If I don't shoot that week, I just pick up whatever I feel like but at least one box.

Well, I really want to do this and try to stock up...but I don't think it's gong to work for me. Yesterday I went to Sportsman's to look around and saw some of the generic Federal stuff for $13.99/50. So I bought three boxes and thought, "Sweet, I'm starting to stock up".

On the way home I stoped at my local range because the temptation was too strong and I wanted to "just shoot one box so I'll still have two...".

An hour later I'm at the range sales counter asking for another box of rounds because I had shot through all three boxes that I brought, and still couldn't stop myself.

I would have been better off staying at home. I did enjoy the range time and I'm getting almost as good with my XD as I am with my 1911 - but the fact is I am weak and I cannot save anything for later, apparently.

In fact, going and buying ammo and then going and shooting it is so ingrained into me that I don't know if I can actually go buy ammo and just take it home!

I'm scared.
