Heya Rucker, I hear ya with these god awful MN summers and the humidity. I'm in the process of getting into reloading as well, and when I do get everything together, I'll be faced the same situation. The press is going in the garage, because it just can't go in the house. Planning to keep components we're not using for that session back in the house somewhere.
Have to just get by on fans in the summer and a kerosene space heater in the winter.

I would say reload in the basement.
You'll be happy that it's heated and air conditioned, and it doesn't make much of a mess except for the rare spilled bit of powder or dropped primer. I would add one thing, if you decide to reload in the basement then don't use a vacuum except where you know you won't suck up a primer.

FWIW, I have indoor/outdoor carpet on my garage floor. I routinely vac powder & old primers, no problems. I would not have a problem loading in the house either. There is little to no exposed lead unless you are tumbling brass in the house. Powder spills are the only thing to really worry about indoors, JMO.
