I hear a rumor that Walmarts are selling off their remaining inventory of 50ct Winchester 9mm's for $5 a box. I called a couple of local stores and one said that it did have that promotion (sold out quickly) and another said he'd never heard of such a thing. Any other AZ shooters heard this?

It's probabaly the Wal-Marts that are phasing out their hunting and shooting supplies. There was a thread here recently about a large portion of Wal-Marts that were going to stop selling firearms and related stuff.

They used to sell them for $5.83 once upon a time.

I just picked up two boxes of 9mm Value Pack for $15.72 each at my local Walmart today. The price just keeps edging up. Oh well...time to order some dies I guess.

I got the last 4 box's of WWB 9mm from my walmart here in Reno,NV 2 days ago for $5.00 a pop.. No other Walmarts had such a deal. I think I was at the right spot at the right time sota thing

I do see the same ammo on clearance for $9.00 at a few other Walmarts, im keeping an eye on them for when they drop the price down again.

$17 a box 100pk i bout a case and saved 10%.....i have seen it at $20 in some places

Same here. It was 4.96 at walmart for years. Back in 1997 I bought it at 4something and I remember buying for 4.96 a box the day after 9-11 as well. Did go up until a couple weeks after 9-11 and it hasn't stopped since.

You guys talking about 124 Gr.? The stuff thats on clearance for $5.00 is the 124 grain.
