Turns out there are quite a few issues with pierced primers with the newer "Military Classic" x39 ammo causing in "bent firing pins in yugo m59/66's". Looks like most of the issues from what I'm reading are from problems with primers either being pierced and/or coming unseated (bad). If anyone cares to further investigate this: http://www.sksboards.com/smf/index.php?topic=26693.0

It isn't the magazine, its the ammo. Cleaning the round, taking a rag or old shirt and just wipe off the coating that Wolf applies, and either put your own lubricant solved my problems. Since then I've used Blazer Brass, not only is it cheaper, and shoots cleaner, you can also reload the brass. This is what load I typically use for plinking and practicing. Other calibers of Wolf, .223 and 7.62X39 seem to work just fine. Although if you have a new lower on an AR15 that needs to be broken in some of the Wolf we shot was little underpowered. Wasn't able to cycle, had to manually seed in a round into the chamber at times, till it was broken in. |

I'm not going to touch Wolf when I can but Blazer Brass for 1.50ish a box less. Wolf is no longer "cheap" ammo.
