Okay, I have read you can get defense loads that the recoil is almost the same a standard load? Anyone with experience – please?

I guess recoil is a perception, but a hotter load typically has more kick. Then again the projectile weight has a lot to do with perceived recoil.

If you haven't seen this page it's worth a view. The guy spent a lot of time with a lot of different loads. A pretty scientific approach if you ask me.
