7.62 x 39 JHP or FMJ?
I am looking to buy 1000 rounds of the Wolf Military Classic and can't decide if I should buy the FMJ or JHP. Both rounds are priced the same. Can anyone suggest what which I should purchase? It seems that the JHP would be the best option, but I don't want any feeding issues.

you wont have feeding issues the opening for the HP is the size of a large needle. less than 1/8th of a inch but they do seem a little bit more accurate and open up nicely on something solid. I have only tried them on hard objects like 4X4's and steel plate and since their the same price ( usually ) why not have the HP's???

I shoot the JHP and am glad I ordered that (even though it was an error; I and originally wanted FMJ). The JHP will qualify as a hunting round in most states, feeds well, and if you're of the mind to hunt and practice with the same exact ammo, works just fine.
I've not had any problems with Wolf's JHP, although I advise buying the newer polymer coated stuff they make rather than the "Classic". The latter has some sort of lacquer coating that I've heard gums up some actions.

+1 to the polymer coating it is slick but I have shot 2 or 3000 of the old Wolf stuff without any problems in my AK. The AK's were built around that stuff and will handle almost any junk you put into them.Of course if this is a Target Grade rifle please dissregard all that info LOL
