Does anyone have any experience with MagTec .223? I was at Bill's North today, and one of the guys said he could get me cases of 2000 rounds for $200. I am thinking something is not right here, how can that be so cheap? What am I missing?

I like the Magtec pistol ammo that I have tried but have never used the rifle ammo. I would try it for that price.

+1 on the pistol ammo...fed 100 rounds through my sig the first time I shot it and was pleasently suprised. Definately not match ammo, but just as good as WWB or Blazer, IMO. I would venture a guess that the rifle ammo is comparable, but 2000 rounds sounds like a sh!t ton of ammo for only $200. You better check, double check, and check it again, becasue something seems amiss.

If it's legit though, jump on it. Ten cents a round is crazy for .223 - great deal.

What is his contact information. I'll take buy it today. I shoot MagTec pistol ammo and its clean, reliable and accurate.

Maybe its those frangible rounds that you have to use when shooting indoors.

Well it turns out this guy is an ahole. I went back there yesterday, and said I wanted to buy a case, and he said "well, we can't really ever get that in."

I asked if I could order it, and he said he wouldn't even try because they couldn't get it ever. I am dissapointed. If I didn't already go elsewhere to buy guns, I would start now.

He must have been pulling your chain. If you see a deal like that buy it don't look back. Unless its some speciality ammo, anything in 55 gr, 62 gr ect... buy it up. Magtec makes great ammo.
