I have one, when you load it up with a progressive unit it is less than sturdy. If you put something heavy around the bottom of the stand it helps.

When I live in an apt for 6 months I went to harbor freight and picked up a vice/anvil stand for stupid cheep. Heaven as all get out but it worked awsome. Now we have moved to Alaska and I am still using the stand. Due to it takes no spac up. But fixing to build a bench.

What plan did u decid on?

Having recently gotten back into reloading, and having limited access to a full-blown workshop, the search for a good, prefab reloading bench brought me to this $199 work bench from Home Depot. It's not what I'd call "spacious" but I only reload for a couple pistol calibers so the smaller space actually helps keep me organized. I've been using it for a while now and it's been awesome. Not as fancy as some, but I really can't ask for more.

You can find better pics on this site, where I did full write up about it.

Built this on an older steel workmate frame. The table-top is bolted directly to the frame. It still folds and stores between a desk/file cabinet. I will post a pic sometime tomorrow afternoon of it in my office with my press/powder measure mounted.

It is based off the plans i found here but i did modify mine a bit. Portable Reloading Bench–Free Plans AccurateShooter.com Bulletin
