Someone on the 45 forum here mentioned this company for buying .45acp gold dot ammo from. Well it must have started a buying frenzy, I ordered 2 boxes on 4/13 and today, a full week later, I got the following e-mail. I'm not real happy with them. They offer a nice selection of the GDHP ammo, but...

We regret to inform you that we are unable at this time to ship the 45/230 Gold Dot. We have simply run out. We will however be able to ship your order complete after the next production run which is scheduled for 5/26/07.

If they're a small business, which is likely, they could have simply been bum-rushed with orders they simply weren't ready for. I think it's commendable that they contacted you in the way that they did. Many companies would have just let it slide.

They do mostly Government and dealer sales. The big thing is the manufacturers are not keeping up with the demand.
