Lake City .45 ACP

Does anybody know about Lake City .45 ACP ammo? I bought a case at my local gunshow for 100 bucks, $10 a box seemed like a deal I couldn't pass up and the vendor was a local store that can get me more at the same price.

Lake City makes military ammo.
I believe that they are the last of the gvmt arsenals.

I have shot about 500 rounds of it, and have another 1,000 in the ammo vault.

I shoot at a police range on weekends and Lake City is all they shoot in they're rifles. There is .223 brass everywhere you look and it's all Lake City, so I can only assume it's good stuff.

The only trick with military brass is the cases are thicker, therefore having minimally lower capacities. This in turn will give you slightly higher cartridge pressures, so the seating depth should be double checked. Lastly when I was reloading, I started using a powder mix of 5 - 6% less than I was using prior on non-military brass.
